Get walking!

E 'in April and hopefully we can finally say goodbye to Old Man Winter. Winter often brings on the blues, with most of us are locked up with very little sunlight and vitamin D. I do not know about you, but the last weeks of March, I have a little 'tired of hearing the winter. So I'm very happy that spring is here! With the warmer weather and longer days is a good time to go out and enjoy the spring.

Living in the suburbs, there are often basedon our cars too. I know that not everyone has a car, but I must say that those not in favor when it comes to sustainability. Those without cars run much more than those of us who do, according to Deepak Chopra's book Ageless Body, Timeless Mind can prolong life by simply walking.

After my first child was born a group of women and I used to get together to walk in a local park. After my second son was born I discovered thatI had no time for walks. It seemed that I spend most of my time in the car driving my daughter to her school and activities, children in tow. My husband and I occasionally take winter walks along the waterfront, but those days were few and far between.

Now that spring is here I look forward to long walks with our family and all the friendly, happy people down the road. I look forward to the group of women who have shaped membershipclub tours in our region, and perhaps I isolation that has accumulated in the barn in winter. I look forward to the buds on the trees, the tulips in bloom, the sound of birds chirping, and the green grass starts to appear, but most are eager to experience the beauty of spring with my family and friends.

If you are tired of more of your time indoors, especially if you're a new mom, I suggest you go out with youryour child, you and your child will be a good compromise. If you do not want to do on your own to join a women's group or form their own group and get walking!

You'll be amazed how good you feel and your baby will probably sleep better with all the fresh air.
